Create detailed proposals with cover pages, scope, timelines, and pricing — then convert to invoices.
Proposals go beyond estimates by presenting a complete project pitch — including a cover page, project scope, timeline, pricing breakdown, and terms. They're ideal for larger projects where the client needs to understand the full picture before committing.
Cover Page — Your business name, logo, the proposal title, client name, and the date. This is the first thing the client sees.
Scope of Work — A detailed description of what you'll deliver. Break it into clear sections or phases so the client knows exactly what's included (and what's not).
Timeline — Key milestones and their estimated completion dates. Use a simple table or list format so it's easy to scan.
Pricing — An itemized breakdown of costs. You can group pricing by phase or by deliverable. Each line item includes a description, quantity, rate, and subtotal.
Terms & Conditions — Payment terms, cancellation policy, intellectual property rights, confidentiality, and any other legal terms you need.
When a client receives a proposal, they get a professional, branded document they can review in their browser. At the bottom they can:
After a proposal is accepted, click Convert to Invoice to create an invoice from the proposal's pricing section. All line items transfer over automatically. Set a due date and send.
Tip: Send proposals as soon as possible after a client meeting — the faster you formalize the discussion, the higher the close rate.
